UGA Tailgating

I only had one opportunity to head to UGA to tailgate this year. The final game was against Georgia Tech and it was cold!

Lots of friends came to spend the day with us.

I had to stop and nap for a while.

Once I was rested, I had a great time chasing sticks in the garden. Walker loved to throw them over the wall so that I could fly over and bring them back!

At game time I got to ride home with Paula, Christy, and Walker and watch the game inside where it was warm. Thanks for taking me home with you!

Catching Up

Nothing new was happening for awhile, so there hasn't been much to post. But then, a couple of weeks ago, things got crazy! I was outside playing with my friend Liz when I let out a yelp to let her know I was hurt. She and Dad rushed me to the vet who sent me on to UGA. I had a hematoma that was growing as I stood there. Here's a picture of me on the exam table at UGA.

They took lots of blood to try and figure out what was happening. You can see bandages on 3 legs!

After 3 days in ICU, I was ready to go home.

This is the day I came home. I was bruised from my belly to my toes!

The bruising is finally gone and I am well on my way to healing. Here's hoping I don't have to go through that again!

Clemson Days

Clemson and I have spent a lot of time together over the past week...and we have most of another week to go.
Last week, we were at Clemson's house. Since I'm not allowed on the bed, I had to get creative in sitting with Mom while she worked.
Then we brought Clemson home with us. On Wednesday we stopped everything to watch USA play soccer. Our celebration of the win took everything out of Clemson!

Clemson's family wanted to know how she was doing, so we posed for some pictures to send them.

On Thursday, we went on a outing to the pet store. Clemson was very interested in the rats.

This bird was very interested in Clemson. He spent several minutes eyeing her up and down. I'm glad Clemson didn't want to bring him home--he had a $380 price tag!

Today we've done lots of playing around the house. Notice the floor full of toys and the beds full of dogs!

We are napping until the Chile soccer game this afternoon.

Play Date with Walker

Today I went to Walker's house to visit. We played with a tennis ball until I could hardly breathe!
I did find a cool place to rest.

Lulah Comes to Visit

My friend Lulah and her mom are visiting for the weekend. There was some concern about how we would get along, but as you can see there was nothing to worry about. BFFs!

It's Snowing...

...and I'm not sure why anyone would want to leave the front porch!

I will cuddle with most anything!

Who needs a teddy bear?!? I'll just cuddle with a ball.

Winder Christmas Parade

We love to watch the Christmas Parade in town every year. This year, it was really cold. I had a blanket, but I was still shivering. Dad tried to give me a warmer spot to hang out.

Fall Fun

One recent fall Sunday, we went to Walker's house to spend some time with his family. He had a great time riding his bike.
Then we took turns sliding.

Then we got really dirty playing in the leaves!

A Visit with Clemson

Over Mom's Fall Break, we went to spend a couple of days with Clemson and her family. She is much closer to my size than she was when I saw her in July!

Things started off pretty innocent...I was just playing with my toys.

Then I had to remind her who was older...

And then it was all over but the barking!
It was all in fun! We had a great time and I can't wait to see her again.

Labor Day...finally!

I had a great time swimming at the Croziers' on Labor Day. Since I don't know when to call it quits, Mom made me wear my life jacket. I had a great time chasing the tennis ball.
Valerie, Zachary, and McKinney found a baby turtle and kept him company for most of the afternoon.

While Mom and Dad were inside eating dinner, I got in some great Valerie time on the porch.

Baby Ben

On Saturday, I finally got to meet Baby Ben. He was not near as excited to see me as I was to see him. I tried to give him lots of kisses, but everybody just kept telling me to sit still! I didn't get to see Valerie while I was there, but I went swimming with her on Sunday. Pictures of that to come...

Cooper

Cooper's family is away for a few days, so we have been going to his house to visit him everyday. He used to be scared of me, but now that he has been spending so much time alone he is ready to play every time we go to visit.

Eddie's Visit

Eddie lives with friends of Mom and Dad. They went out of town, so Eddie came to stay with us. Needless to say, he was very sad when they first left.
He went to the guest room and stared out the window hoping he would see them drive up.

I finally joined him to find out what he found so interesting...

We looked out the window for a LONG time, but we didn't see his family come back.

Now that he's been here a few days, Eddie is willing to leave the window and hang out with our family. We play hard, and then we rest hard!

Tuesday was Free Pastry Day at Starbucks. Apparently, they don't give free pastries to dogs, but they did give us a free cup of ice.
