Easter Weekend

Whew! What a busy few days we have had. The fun started Thursday night with the OPC stopping by for dinner and Survivor.
I had a great time hanging out with the Segraves Girls.

On Friday, Clemson and her family came to stay for the weekend.

On Saturday, Clemson and I went to PawPaw and Mema's house while everyone else spent the day in Athens.

That night, while some of the boys went to the Thrashers game, we had a Birthday Party for Mema.

After church on Easter Sunday, everyone came back to the house to enjoy a relaxing afternoon.

I hope Dad's not getting any ideas!

Oops!

I got a little carried away with my toy on Friday. I was frustrated that I could not get the cookies out of the bottle, so I picked it up by the rope and started swinging it in circles. Can I help that the wall jumped in my way?!?

Dad has spent the last few days trying to repair the mess I made. Needless to say, everytime he starts to work on the wall, I hear about my mistake all over again!

Buford

Tonight, a friend of Mom and Dad's stopped by and he brought a dog for me to play with! Buford is still a puppy, but he's much bigger than I am. Things were fine until he wanted to play with my toys. Why does it matter that I haven't cared about that toy in days?!? Tonight, I wanted it!

I'm Smarter than the Average Bear!

About a year ago, Brent, Christy, and Walker surprised me with the best toy ever! I eventually destroyed it and Mom threw it away. This past week, she found another one (a new, improved version) and brought it home to me. It didn't take me long to become an expert and I was eating way more treats than Mom thought I should have in one day!

Today, Mom thought she would be smart and put bigger treats in the toy so that I would have to work harder to get to them.

Needless to say, there is more than one way to solve that problem!

Once I unscrewed the bottom of the bottle, it was easy to get all the treats out!

Running to honor Fallen Heroes

On Saturday, Dad and I went to stand in the rain while Mom ran her first 10K. It was VERY wet and cold, but we hung in there long enough to see Mom cross the finish line--although she was walking by that point!

Here's a picture of all our friends that were there. A big shout out to Marty and Allison for coming to cheer on the runners. I can't believe they got out of their warm bed to come cheer everyone on--now those are good friends!

Clemson

I am excited that I have a new cousin. I haven't met her yet, but Clemson will be here to visit in a couple of weeks. I've tried to argue that it's puppy abuse to make her go by that name, but I lost that battle! In the meantime, I am looking forward to getting to know her.

Last Call

When Mom was cleaning up last weekend, she found this toy hidden behind furniture in her office. I was excited to have something new to play with, but she said we had to return it to its rightful owner! Since then, she has asked everyone she can think of that has brought a child to our house lately, but no one is claiming it. Clearly, someone wanted me to have it...but she wants to try one more time to figure out who left it here. Going once, going twice...
