Day at the Lake

This morning we made a last minute
decision to go out on the lake.

There is a lot to do to get the boat ready; I'm not sure how Dad would manage without my help!

I wanted to go swimming and make a new friend, but Mom said I had to stay on the boat.

Dad was not too happy about catching a catfish. Looks good to me!

This was a boat milestone--the first bass caught off the boat!

I am SUCH a good babysitter!

Micah came to visit for a little while this afternoon.

Micah, you sure you aren't ready for a nap?

Whew! Time to relax!

What's this?

So, Dad got this weird contraption out of the garage today. I'm not sure what it is, but this afternoon Barley's dad showed up with one too. They loaded them in the truck and said they'd be back later. I hope they're still in one piece when they show up!

Otto and Barley

We spent the weekend at Lake Jackson with some of Mom's friends from work. After some coaxing, I finally decided to enjoy the water.

I also made a new friend. Barley is me in about 10 years!

Barley wasn't too sure about me and my energy at first, but he finally got to where he could let me stand next to him. In the background, Mom is holding a sign that Barley's sister, Jennifer, made that says "Otto and Barley"!

What fun!

Dad got a new toy delivered today, but I think I had way more fun with the box!

Who says you need snow to go sledding?!?

A Surprising Morning

Mom, Dad, Allison, and Marty ran the Buford 5K this morning.

Dad wouldn't let me go with them; he said I would get too hot! When they got home, Mom had a medal with her! She had the 3rd fastest time in her age group. She said that just means she is old!

I'm famous!

The people at The Salty Dog Cafe saw my cute picture and they put me on their website! Click on my picture to read the message I typed!

Beautiful Day at the Pool

Today we met Walker and his family for a picnic lunch at the Croziers' pool.

I had a great time chasing toys on the deck.

I didn't like when they got away from me. I spent a lot of time seeing just how far I could stretch without falling in!
