Why don't I get to go to the game?

I had to stay home by myself ALL day today while Mom and Dad went to Athens. After they got home, they told me about this other dog that gets to go to every game. How does that work?

Apparently, there are TWO dogs at every game. Some big guy named Hairy, and some new kid named Uga VII. What does a dog have to do to get an invite to this gig?

Go Dawgs!

I'm Worn Out!

Saturday was a busy day. It started with a Sunday School social at the park. We had a great time hanging out with friends and eating (of course). I got lots of lovin' from all the little people. Zachary and Trey took me for a long walk, but Mom was asleep at the wheel and didn't get any pictures. She did snap one of Andrea giving me a big hug.

Do you think she'll let me come over for another slumber party?

After a short nap in the car, we met up with Walker and his parents to head to Duluth to hear A1A and Zac Brown play. There were tons of people there, but there was enough room for a wrestling match with Brent and Walker.

Looks like I lost this round.

There was also time for Walker and I to have a little heart-to-heart.

We had a great day, but I have spent all of today making up for lost sleep!

Happy Birthday Dad!

On Wednesday, Walker and his family helped Dad celebrate his birthday. Walker looks like he wants a birthday hat too!

SCC

Good Morning America aired a video with Stephen Curtis Chapman and his family this morning. If you would like to hear what they said about how their faith is helping them deal with the grief of losing a child so tragically, it's worth a watch. Mom says to have a tissue handy!

What a Weekend!

Wow! We've been pretty busy this weekend. It started on Thursday night. Mom and Dad left me at home so they could go to the Braves Game with Walker and his parents. Luckily the rain was not too bad and the Braves won.

Walker seems to be having quite a conversation with the usher.

On Friday, Mom and Dad took me to the Segraves' house. I thought we were just visiting, but before I knew it Mom and Dad were gone. After I got used to the idea that I was there to stay, I had a great time. They even allowed be to be a guest blogger!
While I was enjoying my slumber party at the Segraves' house, Mom and Dad drove to Asheville to see Steven Curtis Chapman in concert on the grounds of the Biltmore. They still haven't stopped talking about it! Between the beautiful mountain scenery and the emotions of a concert so soon after the loss of Steven's daughter, they said they are glad they made the trip.

On Saturday, Mom and Dad enjoyed the day at the Biltmore House with Ashley, Lee, Jordan, and Mason. Jordan and Mason spent the morning on Segways. In the meantime, I was spending the day playing with the Segraves Girls...

It was quite a busy weekend, but we all had a great time!
