Merry Christmas!

I had a wonderful Christmas! On Christmas Eve, I helped Jordan and Mason look up the chimney for Santa...we didn't get to see him!
Instead, I spent time with Dad and Mason watching TV until time for bed.

On Christmas morning, Jordan's Grandma and Grandpa showed up with a new car! Needless to say, there was lots of squealing!

For me, they brought their new puppy so I would have someone to play with.

I hope your Christmas was as blessed as ours.

Are you kidding...?!?

Jordan came home today with a driver's license!

She pulled in long enough to drop off Ashley, and then she was off on her first solo trip.

Christmas at Biltmore

We are in North Carolina for Christmas and Monday I stayed at the house by myself while everyone else went to the Biltmore house. The house, the grounds, and the gardens were all beautifully decorated.

First 8K

On Saturday morning, Mom and Dad attempted their first 8K. They met several friends there to share the fun: Dawn, Chuck, Kelly, and Trey.

Trey and Dad were excited to see the finish line.

Trey won 1st place in his age group! Way to go!

Happiness is...

Mom and Dad brought home a great surprise today! A couple of years ago, they bought me a Life is Good toy while on vacation. It has since been my favorite toy and I have played with it until it is falling apart. Today they brought me a replacement! I had a great time playing with it all afternoon...so much fun that I have already rubbed all of the paint off!

At the end of the day, I was so tired that I couldn't make it all the way down the stairs. I just sat down mid-step!

Thanksgiving Weekend

I am still not over the outcome of the UGA/GT football game, but I've finally decided to blog about Thanksgiving weekend. PawPaw made a great feast for Thanksgiving dinner, but no one would share with me. I did have a nice time visiting with Great Grandmother.

On Saturday, Mom, Dad, Mason, and Lee spent a rainy, cold afternoon at Sanford Stadium.

The outcome definitely did not make up for the time spent out in the elements.

Catching Up

I know I haven't posted an update in awhile, but we've had a month of busy weekends. After our long weekend at Jekyll, Mom and Dad spent the next weekend at the mountains with some friends. I stayed with PawPaw and MeMaw for that trip. The next weekend we took a trip to see Jordan and Mason.

As you can see, I had a good time showing off for Mason.

This past weekend, Mom and Dad decorated the house for Christmas (we had a special visitor--more on that in a future post). Until then, here's a picture of me and the Christmas tree.

Where are the presents?!?

Poor, Pitiful Puppy

So, I keep forgetting that I have a hard time fitting under Mom and Dad's bed. When my toy rolls under there, I rush under the bed to get it back. The problem comes when I try to get back out. Tonight Mom and Dad were in the kitchen and didn't realize I was in trouble until I whined a little. Then, instead of rescuing me, they just took pictures!

As you can see, I was able to save my toy from the monsters under the bed.

But then I was stuck until Dad lifted the end of the bed so I could crawl out!

Have you ever seen a more pitiful face?!?

GA / FLA Weekend

So, the game was a bummer, but we still had a great weekend...

On Thursday, we went by the Jekyll Golf Course to check out Cliff's annual UGA art. Can you find me next to Hairy?
On Friday, I took a nap at the beach house while Walker went to St. Simons trick or treating

Walker enjoyed being the star of the Frederica Baptist Church Trunk or Treat!

After UGA's horrible showing, Dad stopped to have his picture made with Jeff Owens and Brandon Wood, injured players who spent the game in the stands.

Before leaving Jekyll on Sunday, we took a stroll on the beach. I love chasing the foam left behind by the tide.

On the way home, we stopped at Skippers for lunch. I had to stay in the truck during lunch, but I got to go down to the dock afterwards.

It was a long weekend. I slept all the way home.

Uga in the News(paper)

Mom and Dad and I are back from our annual trek to Jekyll Island and the GA/FLA game. I am headed to bed, so I'll post pictures from our weekend later. In the meantime, Aunt Ashley called to let us know that Uga had a recurring role in the Mother Goose and Grimm comic strip this week:

Walker Goes to School

On Friday, Walker and his parents stopped by Mom's school. Walker had a blast running around in the library.
He stopped long enough to watch the rain outside the window.

He also had time to stop and checkout the books!

Survivor--Sort of...

Since way before I was born, Mom and Dad have been spending Thursday nights with their friends eating dinner and watching Survivor. Once the kids got old enough to start school, they have to be in bed by the time Survivor starts. So, the Crozier Crew and Walker and his parents came over tonight for dinner--sans Survivor. We had a nice evening of food and fellowship, then everyone went home and Mom, Dad, and I watched Survivor by ourselves.
Micah had a good time playing before he went to bed in Mom's office. Rebekah and McKinney were here too, but they were to busy eating and playing to stop for pictures.

Walker and I finally came to an agreement that we could share Mom's lap.
We missed the Segraves clan. Maybe they can join us next time.

Vote for us on ESPN!

Ok--so I told you to stay tuned for the finished signs, and then I never posted. Saturday really took a lot out of all of us, but things are getting back to normal.

First, here are the pictures of the finished signs:

Brent and Russell took the signs to Game Day while we watched for them on TV from the tailgate spot. Here's Dad pointing to their signs when they were on live TV:

Now, here's the best part...ESPN has chosen Russell's sign as one of the top five they saw Saturday. Now we need you to go vote. Here's what you do:
-go to this website: http://www.collegegameday.com/#/comingtoyourcity/
(it may take a few seconds to load)
-click on "CRIMSON TIDE @ BULLDOGS" in the box on the right.
-click on "VOTE FOR TOP 5 SIGNS" in the lower middle box
-hover over the one on the top left which is Knowshon jumping over Lee Corso wearing a Bear Bryant hat, then click on it to vote.

As of this posting, our awesome sign has the most votes. Help us keep it that way.

Getting Ready for Game Day

As soon as ESPN announced that Game Day would be in Athens this week, Dad and his friends have been making plans. Brent and Russell came over tonight and the four of us stood around the computer designing signs that will get us on TV. Stayed tuned for the finished products.

Guest Blogger--Barley!

Hi! I'm Otto's friend, Barley. Otto's Mom and Dad came to my house to watch the Georgia Game (Go Dawgs!), so Otto let me fill in for this update.
I wasn't feeling too good this week, so Otto didn't come for this visit. Some of Mom and Dad's school friends came by though. Seems that when you put Georgia Football and food in the same place, people always show up!
Olivia sat down to play with me during a commercial break.

I watched part of the game in Otto's Dad's lap. Since I'm half the size of Otto, I don't even think he knew I was there!

By game time I was feeling much better, so hopefully I'll get to meet up with Otto again soon!

Happy Birthday Walker (and Brent)!

Today is Walker and his Papa's birthdays. Jack and Bailey came to spend the day at my house so they could escape the birthday party madness at their house. We had a great time relaxing with Dad while he watched College Game Day.
Walker would have eaten his entire cake if nobody had stopped him.

When Mom and Dad got home, Jack was ready to explore our yard, but Bailey was ready to head back to her house.

Bark in the Park

What a fun day! Mom and Dad took me to the Braves game. Twice a year dogs are invited to Turner Field, and today there were lots of dogs there to enjoy the game. Once I figured out that there was a ball flying around down on the field, I was at full attention! We stayed until the 11th inning. We were almost home before the Braves finally lost in the 14th.

We saw three other Bostons in our section. This one was on the row in front of us.

And, yes Russell, even Great Danes are invited!

I went to PawPaw's house yesterday while Mom and Dad went to Athens to see the Dawgs win. Walker didn't get to stay for the game, but he was showing off his skills at the tailgate. Check out his cool kicks!
