Winder Christmas Parade

We love to watch the Christmas Parade in town every year. This year, it was really cold. I had a blanket, but I was still shivering. Dad tried to give me a warmer spot to hang out.

Fall Fun

One recent fall Sunday, we went to Walker's house to spend some time with his family. He had a great time riding his bike.
Then we took turns sliding.

Then we got really dirty playing in the leaves!

A Visit with Clemson

Over Mom's Fall Break, we went to spend a couple of days with Clemson and her family. She is much closer to my size than she was when I saw her in July!

Things started off pretty innocent...I was just playing with my toys.

Then I had to remind her who was older...

And then it was all over but the barking!
It was all in fun! We had a great time and I can't wait to see her again.

Labor Day...finally!

I had a great time swimming at the Croziers' on Labor Day. Since I don't know when to call it quits, Mom made me wear my life jacket. I had a great time chasing the tennis ball.
Valerie, Zachary, and McKinney found a baby turtle and kept him company for most of the afternoon.

While Mom and Dad were inside eating dinner, I got in some great Valerie time on the porch.

Baby Ben

On Saturday, I finally got to meet Baby Ben. He was not near as excited to see me as I was to see him. I tried to give him lots of kisses, but everybody just kept telling me to sit still! I didn't get to see Valerie while I was there, but I went swimming with her on Sunday. Pictures of that to come...

Cooper

Cooper's family is away for a few days, so we have been going to his house to visit him everyday. He used to be scared of me, but now that he has been spending so much time alone he is ready to play every time we go to visit.

Eddie's Visit

Eddie lives with friends of Mom and Dad. They went out of town, so Eddie came to stay with us. Needless to say, he was very sad when they first left.
He went to the guest room and stared out the window hoping he would see them drive up.

I finally joined him to find out what he found so interesting...

We looked out the window for a LONG time, but we didn't see his family come back.

Now that he's been here a few days, Eddie is willing to leave the window and hang out with our family. We play hard, and then we rest hard!

Tuesday was Free Pastry Day at Starbucks. Apparently, they don't give free pastries to dogs, but they did give us a free cup of ice.

More Time with Avery and Owen

While the adults were inside helping get ready for Emry's first birthday party, Avery and Owen took me outside to blow bubbles.

They even took turns trying to pop them with me!

Myrtle Beach 2009

Last week we traveled to Myrtle Beach to spend time with Clemson and her family.

It took Clemson and me a little while to call a truce.

She always seemed to be in my bed for some reason.

We took a nice stroll on the beach...

...and she kept running in circles chasing the waves!

We finally decided that we can be friends...

...well, almost!

Playing with Walker

Walker and his parents stopped by tonight. I had a great time playing with Walker, but now I am exhausted!

So pitiful...

My eye started hurting yesterday evening, so this morning I went to see Dr. Fields. She found a small scratch on my eye and gave me some medicine. Then she said that I had to wear this dumb collar to keep my eye safe. Can you tell how happy I am about the situation?!?

A Visitor

This afternoon Dad noticed that we had a visitor on the front porch.

Look closely, he's hiding behind the bulldog...
We knew that he was alive; when Dad shook the bulldog, the bat moved his ears. When Mom pulled the bulldog away to get a better picture, he showed his fangs. But he never made a move to leave.

We left to take a walk at the park. When we got home it was dark, and our visitor was gone.

Finally...

So I am finally catching up on the last month.

Today is Memorial Day and we went to downtown Dacula for the 5K and parade. For her Mother's Day gift, we registered Mema for her first 5K...and she won a medal!
Happy Mother's Day, Mema!

We also have a new friend...Eddie! He looks a lot like me and we are learning to get along together.

He seems to like Clemson's chew toy more than I do!

The boys are home from Alaska...and they don't have to go back! At the end of the summer, they will move to Montgomery with Sean, Jacey, Emry, and the dogs. It will be nice to have them close enough for frequent visits.

We had fun playing with bubbles that Aunt Betty brought.

My goal was to not leave any bubbles unpopped!

Easter Weekend

Whew! What a busy few days we have had. The fun started Thursday night with the OPC stopping by for dinner and Survivor.
I had a great time hanging out with the Segraves Girls.

On Friday, Clemson and her family came to stay for the weekend.

On Saturday, Clemson and I went to PawPaw and Mema's house while everyone else spent the day in Athens.

That night, while some of the boys went to the Thrashers game, we had a Birthday Party for Mema.

After church on Easter Sunday, everyone came back to the house to enjoy a relaxing afternoon.

I hope Dad's not getting any ideas!
